Who We Are
Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Robert Dennis
Dr. Dennis graduated from Virginia Tech and the University of Georgia. Growing up on small farm, he knew from a young age he wanted to work in veterinary medicine. Dr. Dennis loves a good adventure, enjoys fishing, boating, and playing with his 8 grandchildren.
Brenda is our Office Manager and key member of the front end staff. Brenda has also been with Dr. Dennis the longest, being married for 45 years. Brenda loves spending time with her three children and the lights of her life, her EIGHT grandchildren. Brenda also enjoys her five cats and German Shorthaired Pointer “Boone”.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Ne’chelle graduated with her LVT from Blue Ridge Community College. She has been with Brunswick Vet Clinic since 2008. Ne’chelle likes the variety and challenges of emergency, small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Her favorite part of her job is developing personal relationships with clients and their pets. Ne’chelle enjoys attending church, hiking, tubing on the river, horseback riding and spending time with her Yorkshire Terrier, Bentley.
Wendy has been employed with Brunswick Vet Clinic since 2016. She is married to Chris and they have two children. Wendy has been an animal enthusiast all her life and entered the veterinary field in 2006. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys trail rides, spending time with her children, and her new cocker spaniel puppy, Bella.
Groomer / Veterinary Assistant
Karri moved to Brunswick County with her husband, Mike, in the fall of 2004. A groomer by trade and general animal enthusiast, Brunswick Vet Clinic became the perfect fit! As an employee of 14 plus years, Karri has enjoyed getting to know her clients for the long haul. Karri is an avid canner, experimental cook, a rockhound at heart and loves caring for orphaned animals.
Joyce has been with Brunswick Vet Clinic since 2018. Joyce is married to Clyde and they have four cats: J.J., Fuzzy Tail, Rambo and Honey Boo Boo. Joyce loves taking care of livestock, especially bottle feeding calves and goats. Joyce has a giving heart, likes being part of the team, and takes pride in keeping our kennels and office clean. In her spare time she enjoys watching football, dancing, and playing with her cats.
Tater Tot is our office cat who’s been with us since he was a kitten. He loves sleeping on his back, getting treats, & sitting on clients’ laps. He is spoiled, sweet as sugar, and thinks everyone is here to see him. :)
Externships are available year-round to 3rd and 4th year students for any length of time. There is free housing available at Dr Dennis’ home. There are hotels available in South Hill, VA. We can book for you or offer you a weekly stipend. Please complete and return the form in the link below.
